There are a lot of ways to make a lawn beautiful, but it may be best to assume your buyer won’t necessarily want a high-maintenance garden. Flowering shrubs are attractive and healthy evergreens that will thrive in Denver. They’re inexpensive, easy to plant and remove, and look great even in pots. Try using a rhododendron to cover unsightly features like vents or utility lines.
Focus on the Door
The front door makes a strong impression, so it’s worth putting some effort into making it look great. Besides considering a new coat of paint, you can also replace rusty locks and doorknobs or add a knocker or mail slot. While you’re at it, the mailbox itself may be the first thing visitors see, so consider cleaning it, replacing it, or adding a decorative housing.
Spray Away
You can’t beat this for being simple, cheap, and a lot of fun: Take a hose with strong water pressure and let it loose on all the grunge and grime on your house. No need for a full pressure washing, a normal hose will do wonders on its own. Clear away dirt, dust, moss, cobwebs…
